Undergraduate education of our department aims to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of the public finance and to provide them with both an academic and professional background. The target of the Department of Public Finance is to train modern finance professionals who can work in the private or public sector in line with the needs of the country's economy and are able to follow the current developments and changes in the field of finance.

The curriculum of Public Finance department consists of field courses such as public revenues, public expenditures, budget and fiscal policy, as well as courses such as basic economics, business administration, accounting and law. Thus, our students have the opportunity to educate themselves in a much wider area.

Our graduates can work in administrative units and inspection boards of public institutions. Apart from the public, they can work in the accounting and finance departments of private sector companies, as well as professions such as independent accountant, financial advisor, district governor and administrative judge.
